Hue Knew
Match the target color. The catch: the two colors sit on different grays, and a surround changes how a color looks. The same paint seems lighter on dark gray and darker on light gray, so your eye will lie to you.
How to play
- Turn the three rings around your color to mix it. Drag along a ring, or touch anywhere on it.
- Tap your color to lock it in.
- Both colors flow together on one neutral gray, where the real difference shows. The ring around them fills with your score, up to 100.
- Tap anywhere for the next round. After five rounds you get a recap you can share.
Tap Daily at the top for today's game: the same five colors for everyone, played on squares, once a day. Endless takes you back to your seeded game, right where you left it. Each daily ends at midnight, your local time, when the next one starts.
In settings you can make the contrast harder, switch the dials to HSV or HSL, hide the colors on the dials, or play a friend's seed.
Contrast
How far apart the two background grays are. Changing it starts a new endless game; the daily is always medium.
Dials
Hiding the dial colors makes it harder: you mix by eye alone.
Seed
A seed replays the same five rounds, so you can challenge a friend.
